Construction & Community Update – May 2026

It’s been twelve months since we acquired Forest Reach and we’re excited to bring you the latest update from our growing community.

If you’ve paid a visit to the site, you will have seen lots of change in the last twelve months with homes in various stages of construction popping up across the development. We now have almost 200 homes under construction and 140 lots registered – and we’re rapidly making room for many more.

Construction Progress Update

We’re on track to reach a significant milestone later this year – the completion of the bulk earthworks phase. Machinery of every kind is on site helping to make this a reality – and it is no small feat. Once completed we will have moved three million cubic meters of earth.

The loop road in the northern precinct is also currently under construction which will provide views over the future Waples Park and access to stage 13.

Green space and open areas are incredibly important within our AVID communities and Forest Reach is no different.

We’ve planted one million native trees across the vast five-hectare green corridor, and development of the highly anticipated Sunnyside Park will commence later this year.

Available Lots

Whether you’re looking for unregistered or registered ready to build blocks Forest Reach offers a variety of options.

You might prefer a split block to take advantage of the views and surrounding environment, or maybe you have a more traditional build in mind and need a flat block, whatever you’re looking for, you can find it at Forest Reach.

Several acreage blocks will also become available in the coming months.

Community Building

AVID is known for creating community spirit, and Forest Reach is no different. Since acquisition we’ve been working to bring the AVID way to Forest Reach and the heartbeat of the community is now starting to pulse.

Our Easter egg hunt was a huge success and the first of many events specially designed to foster and strengthen this growing community our residents are proud to call home.
